Patch 7.8 - Echoes of Discovery

A new update has arrived! This patch introduces three new questlines in spawn, improves existing systems, and adds even more customization options. Let’s dive into what’s new!

⚓9 New Spawn Quests

Three new quest givers have appeared around spawn, each offering escalating challenges with unique rewards:

• ⚓ Mariner Timberholt (Spawn Docks)
  Timberholt needs your help repairing his shipwright. He’ll be asking for massive deliveries of timber, cloth, and metalwork to get his vessel seaworthy again.
• 🔭 Astronomer Chauncey (Mountain Peak)
  Chauncey is conducting an ambitious survey of the night skies. Bring him luminous reagents and crystalline materials to help power his star dome.
• ✧ Thaumaturge Lysandra (Between Colosseum & Barracks)
  A dangerous starbound rift threatens the realm. Lysandra requires vast amounts of arcane reagents and fiery nether materials to stabilize it.

Each questline features multiple steps with scaled difficulty. They are designed as resource sinks for players who enjoy gathering, farming, and trading.

🪄Skills Menu Update

The /skills menu has been fully re-organized. Active abilities are now grouped together so they’re easier to locate, apply, and manage. This quality-of-life improvement makes the system much more intuitive.

🦑Fishing Contest

Fishing Contests now stand out more than ever! Whenever a contest begins, a unique piece of art is broadcast in chat, similar to dungeon announcements. This ensures contests are more noticeable and adds extra excitement when the event goes live. 🎣

🎀Cosmetic Crate Expansion

The Cosmetic Crate has just received fresh loot! We’ve added Wings and a wide variety of new backpieces, bringing the total to over 60 unique cosmetics now available in the crate.

Cosmetic Crate Keys are now also available directly on the store:

• 1x Key – €1.99
• 5x Keys – €7.99 (~€1.60 each, 20% off)
• 10x Keys – €14.99 (~€1.50 each, 25% off)
• 20x Keys – €27.99 (~€1.40 each, 30% off)
• 50x Keys – €59.99 (~€1.20 each, 40% off)
• 100x Keys – €99.99 (~€1.00 each, 50% off)

Head to /warp cosmetics in-game to preview every cosmetic on your character — even the ones you haven’t unlocked yet.

⚙️Player Settings Menu

A new section has been added to the Player Settings Menu with additional toggles:

• Drop Toggle – Type /drop or use the player settings menu to toggle whether you drop items. Perfect for preventing accidents.
• Paytoggle – Control whether you can send or receive money through /pay.

📦Other Changes

This update also brings a few other changes requested by the community:

• Increased Hunter job pay for mobs such as Creepers, Blaze, Iron Golem, Zombified Piglins, Endermen, Wither Skeletons.
• You can now put Fortune 20 on more tools such as Hoes.
• Custom weapons such as Chronoblaster and Turkey Gun has had their volume reduced (no more earplugs needed!)
• The Seller and Collector Minions can now be obtained from the Titan Crate
• Your total jobs level is now displayed in the tab menu.
• Fixed several backpiece (offhand) cosmetics having wrong positioning such as all of the Dinosaur Tails.
