🧠 A New Player Experience

Season 7 begins with a deep focus on accessibility and onboarding. Whether you’re returning after years or stepping in for the very first time, your journey is now easier to begin and far more immersive.

Players now spawn in a new tutorial area, with helpful text holograms and visual prompts explaining the most important mechanics right away.

New Help Menu (Press F or /help)

We’ve integrated an entire in-game wiki. Packed with over 100 sleek menus, this system includes:

  • Every command and major feature, explained clearly
  • No need to tab out or check the wiki to get started - it’s all right here in-game

PacGPT – AI Assistant, Powered by ChatGPT-4o

Ask anything. Anywhere. PacGPT will listen.
Just type your question with a ?, or say something like:

how do I activate a dungeon?
pacgpt what are heirlooms?

Trained on the full server wiki, rules, gameplay systems and Minecraft knowledge, it’s like having a personal guide beside you at all times.
beep boop.

Streamlined Gameplay Experience

We’ve cleaned up the command tab menu — now it only shows what you can use, removing the clutter and confusion.

Plus, a new player settings menu allows you to toggle night vision, reposition HUD elements such as where to show money, world, crowns, and more with just a click.

Do you want information on the right side? Or at the top? Or both? You decide!

🗺️ Adventure Zones

Season 7 introduces a new open-world RPG approach to zones that were previously underused. What used to be temporary event zones have now been transformed into permanent, content-rich zones packed with rewards and replayability.

🌴 Isle of the Dead

The Isle of the Dead is a persistent open-world area filled with activities and treasures.

  • Explore a sprawling tropical map with zone objectives, hidden treasure locations, and a quest hub.
  • Take on daily and weekly quests, with rewards ranging from Heirloom Currency and even Crowns.
  • Participate in monthly leaderboards to see who did the most on the island and earn additional prizes.
  • A new rotating event, the Thieving Pirate, will occasionally spawn on the island. The first player to find and defeat him will earn a random stash of heirloom currency.
  • Complete the returning Tomb of Secrets, an ancient dungeon-like structure filled with puzzles, traps, and rare loot.
  • Fight through a variety of wildlife monsters, including custom mobs like snakes, crabs, tigers, monkeys, and more.

🏰 The Fallen Kingdom

For seasoned adventurers, the Fallen Kingdom returns - once used for Halloween, now reimagined as a high-reward and difficult endgame zone. Expect:

  • Dozens of elite-level quests
  • Unique and dangerous custom mobs
  • A server-wide boss event triggered after 10,000 zone kills
  • Better loot, more Crowns, and elevated heirloom rewards
  • Rotating zone-based challenges and mini-events

The new Adventure Zones offer long-term goals, exploration, and exciting encounters all year round instead of only a few months a year.

🐫 New Dungeon: Temple of Anubis

Prepare to descend into the mysteries of Ancient Egypt with the launch of our latest dungeon: Temple of Anubis.

This mythic-tier challenge brings new enemies, custom boss mechanics, unique lore, and treasures waiting for the bold. It's the 14th major dungeon added to MineRaze.

And we’re already working on the next one: a dark, End-themed dungeon currently being built. Expect teasers soon on Discord!

Bonus: We’ve significantly reduced trap damage in most dungeons - and even removed many entirely. Especially in Mythic dungeons. You asked for it, and here it is.
Teaser of some of the new Temple of Anubis furniture you can earn. Want to see the dungeon? Well, you're gonna have to explore it in-game!

🕹️ Minigames

Minigames are now scheduled again – every 2 hours, a random event will activate:

  • Normal or Heroic Dungeon
  • Spleef
  • Fishing Contest

Prefer control? You can still contribute materials at Leif the Explorer to activate normal and heroic dungeons on demand.

And new minigames!

The return of Spleef, a classic PvP minigame where the floor is quite literally lava (okay, snow)

And a brand-new Coinflip minigame, where you can wager money — or Crowns — against other players.

🏆 Tournaments

Say goodbye to the old global quest system, and hello to something far more competitive and fresh: Tournaments.

Track your progress live, compete with others, and claim victory by finishing in the Top 5 of each objective cycle.

As requested by many, it didn't feel great having to reach a specific amount just to get rewards. So we've made it simple: just do the objective, be among the top 5 players, and you win. No more grindy thresholds - it's now a real competition against other players instead of an arbitrary minimum goal that you may or may not reach.

Objectives are now also broader - all block breaks count in block breaking tournaments, so you can mine, farm, or dig your way to glory when a block break tournament is active. Prefer breaking stone? Go for it. Prefer farming melon blocks? Sure. Prefer finding niches to super optimize it? Go for it.

Live leaderboards also make it easy to track your progress and that of other players.

⛰️ The Return of In-Game Ranks & Prestige

We’ve scrapped the guild system and brought back a more intuitive, rewarding structure: 20 in-game ranks, each with new perks and progression.

Goodbye Guild Confusion

The guild system has been scrapped. It caused too much early-game confusion with multiple overlapping choices (jobs and guild), and it was far too easy to pick something you'd regret. Now, all former guild perks are baked directly into the in-game rank path, making progression simple and smooth for everyone.

Meaningful Progression

Each of the new 20 ranks now comes with better rewards, including one-time unlocks like currency, keys, and even Crowns. The entire system feels more structured, giving you steady milestones to look forward to with better progression.

Prestige System

The beloved Prestige System makes its return! Hit the final rank? You can Ascend back to Mortal and start the climb again - just like classic prestige systems in games like OG Call of Duty. With each prestige level, you gain extra status and unlocks.

And finally, the Premium and Platinum perks are now baked into the free rank progression. Commands such as /back is no longer paywalled. Enjoy!

📈 General Progression Overhaul

Season 7 brings a sweeping update to progression across the board. Notably:

⚒️ Jobs Progression

Leveling up jobs has been rebalanced, especially in the higher levels (50+), where it used to get painfully slow. Job XP gain is now 20% faster, making the grind far more enjoyable and casual-friendly throughout.

💠 More Currency, More Often

Heirloom currency rewards have been boosted across the board. Whether you’re opening daily/weekly quest satchels, diving into dungeons, finishing quests, or exploring the new Adventure Zones, you’ll now earn heirlooms currency more frequently and from more sources.

🐎 Vendor Prices Lowered

Mounts, pets, and useful trades from Stables, Haldor the Haggler, and other vendors are now cheaper - giving everyone better access to cool content.

🛒 Store & Crowns Merchant Changes

We’ve made big cuts to real-money prices and expanded what’s available via in-game Crowns:

  • Cosmetics: now 80% cheaper on the store
  • Sell Chests & Global Boosters: now 20% cheaper
  • More packages are now purchasable via the Crowns Merchant. In fact, every single store package is now also in the Crowns Merchant.

💰 Crowns Economy Revamp

This season, Crowns evolve from a premium currency into a more central part of the in-game economy.

Auction House Now Supports Crowns

The Auction House has been updated and now allows trades using Crowns. This adds a whole new layer to the economy - you can now buy and sell valuable items directly for Crowns, giving it more value beyond just store items.

The Crowns Merchant has been completely reworked and now offers:

  • Every store package now available for Crowns
  • New bundles, including cosmetics, mounts, and pets

Crowns are now much easier to earn through gameplay, with more in-game sources added across quests, events, and more.

In short: Crowns are no longer just for ranks and keys - they’re a true economy currency now. Earn them, trade them, and spend them your way.

⚒️ Minions Join Survival

The lovely Minions from Skyblock have officially made their way to Towny, following a majority support in the recent community poll!

  • Every player can own up to 3 minions
  • They help gather stone, chop trees, farm crops, or kill mobs - passively
  • Buy them with in-game money
  • No rank requirements, and no real-life-money paywall

Whether you're mining, farming, or just chilling, your minions have your back. This system brings a fresh layer of automation and strategy to survival gameplay!

Note: alts are not allowed to operate minions.

📜 100+ New Quests

This is the biggest quest expansion in MineRaze history — with over 100 new quests added in Season 7!

  • 30+ new spawn quests that have you delivering a wide variety of vanilla items and materials
  • 35+ new milestone quests, doubling the total from 35 → 70 — with tons more Rubies to earn
  • New quests hidden across dungeons, adventure zones, and more.

✨ Vanilla Experience Bottling Returns

The fan-favorite Vanilla XP Bottling system is back!

You can now bottle and store your vanilla XP levels as physical experience bottles. These can be redeemed whenever you need them, saved for later use, or even traded and sold to other players.

📣 New Discord Notifications Channel

Never miss your favorite minigames! A brand new #notifications channel has been added to the Discord, letting you know whenever an in-game event or minigame is live, such as Spleef, Fishing Contest, Dungeons and Trials of the Gods.

Coming soon: opt-in roles so you can get pinged when a minigame is active.

🔧 Miscellaneous & Quality-of-Life Highlights

Here’s just a taste of the polish and improvements we’ve rolled out:

  • New "Enchantress" NPC with XP bottling, spawner caches, and more!
  • Join and Leave messages bring back that nostalgic "wb" community feel
  • Dungeon weapons and armor can now be salvaged for materials
  • Spawner cap increased from 6 → 8 per chunk
  • LWC returns as our container protection plugin (goodbye confusing "Bolt")
  • Sweeping Edge now enchantable on custom weapons via a new Weapons trainer NPC
  • Bulk crate opening — spin several of your keys at once!
  • New trailer and ad campaign to promote Season 7
  • Minor quality-of-life additions, such as a message on death telling you where you died, and so much more...
