Patch 8.8 - Summer Event! ☀️

Summer has arrived, and with it comes a new seasonal event - the largest Summer Event to date.

This update introduces the Volcanic Isle, roughly 40 new event quests, daily deliveries, a fresh scavenger hunt, new rewards, new pets, new furniture, Jellyfish Mounts, store promos, and a Summer Build Contest for the most creative players on the server.

The Summer Event is available until June 29th.

🛒 Store Promotions

During the event, every qualifying single payment on the store will unlock extra bonus rewards. These rewards are based on the total amount spent in one payment.

🌴 A Hotter Summer on the Isle

A new version of the Isle of the Dead has arrived.

For the Summer Event, the volcano at the center of the island has erupted, covering the isle in ash, lava, and danger. The surrounding waters have been poisoned by volcanic ash, and new creatures have started crawling out from the heart of the volcano.

New volcanic enemies include:

• Volcanic Kobolds
• Magma Crawlers
• Lava Spirits
• Obsidian Brutes
• Cinder Spiders
• Lava Behemoths

Each creature can drop a unique quest item used in the new Volcanic Isle delivery quests.

The normal Isle of the Dead is still available as usual. The volcanic version is an additional summer event layer with new mobs, quests, exploration, and seasonal rewards.

🏆 Clearing the Island Leaderboard

The Volcanic Isle also includes a new leaderboard challenge.

During the event, players can compete by slaying corrupted monsters across the island. The top players with the most kills by the end of the event will receive bonus rewards.

Leaderboard rewards:

• 1st Place: 1000 Crowns + 4x Ruby
• 2nd Place: 1000 Crowns + 1x Ruby
• 3rd Place: 500 Crowns

Use the leaderboard at the event area to track your kills and see who is currently leading the fight to clear the island.

🐢 Joren Turtlebane: Volcanic Isle Quests

Joren Turtlebane has a new collection of Volcanic Isle quests for the Summer Event.

The first 10 quests focus on collecting unique drops from the new volcanic mobs and delivering them in exchange for Summer Shells. Summer Shells are the main Summer Event rewards used for seasonal progression and event items.

After completing all 10 quests, an 11th final shipment quest becomes available with additional high-value rewards, such as the new BEACH title, a new Raccoon Combat pet and 3x Ruby.

🧍 Eli Goyen: Outstanding Debt

Not everyone escaped the eruption.

Several survivors are still missing across the Volcanic Isle, and according to Eli Goyen, a few of them left behind more than just footprints.

Find the missing survivors, speak with them, and return to the village to complete this unusual rescue mission.

🔥 Event Boss: Eruption Lord Kolvax

Every 1,000 volcanic creature kills on the isle will summon Eruption Lord Kolvax.

This powerful event boss rises from the chaos of the eruption and rewards players who help bring him down.

Kolvax rewards:

• 1x Veiled Crystal
• $50,000 in-game money

Work together, push back the volcanic creatures, and prepare for the eruption’s strongest threat.

🐚 Summer Daily Delivery Quests

A new Summer Daily Quest has arrived for the event.

Each day, Solara at /event will offer one rotating delivery quest. These quests ask players to gather large bundles of summer-themed materials, ranging from wood and flowers to beach supplies, picnic food, dyes, lantern materials, and coastal resources.

The active quest changes daily, giving players a new delivery task to complete as the event continues.

How it works:

• Visit Solara daily at /event
• Check today’s active delivery quest
• Gather the required materials
• Deliver everything at once
• Claim your reward

Each quest requires around 1,700-2,000 total items, so make sure you bring the full delivery in one trip.

Each quest has a 20-hour cooldown, meaning the same quest can be completed again if it returns later in the rotation.

Log in each day, check Solara, and keep collecting Summer Shells throughout the event.

🔥 Summer Quests Redux

A batch of new and familiar summer activities has returned in the /quests menu.

These repeatable side quests are built around normal gameplay tasks, so players can make steady event progress while farming, fishing, brewing, gathering, and exploring.

Activities include:

• Breaking sand
• Harvesting melons, wheat, pumpkins, sugar cane, and cactus
• Brewing summer potions
• Fishing
• Hunting Drowned, Squids, and Tropical Fish
• Gathering Sea Pickles
• And more

Each quest can be repeated every 20 hours, making them a reliable daily source of rewards.

Each quest rewards:

• $5,000 in-game money
• 1x Summer Satchel

Summer Satchels can contain vanilla gems, Malachite, Moonstone, or more rarely a Summer Shell.

There are 12 daily Summer Quests available, meaning players who complete them all can earn up to 12 Summer Satchels and $60,000 per day from these quests alone.

🕵️ Beach Ball Scavenger Hunt

Think you have a good eye?

20 Beach Balls have been hidden around spawn for players to find.

Track them all down and complete the scavenger hunt to earn:

• $100,000 in-game money
• Splash the Buoy Duck Pet
• Summer themed Join & Leave message (/joinmessages)

📦 Summer Rewards & Exclusive Items

The Summer Crate and Summer Merchant has arrived with a fresh collection of seasonal rewards.

Inside, you will find a mix of bright, limited-time summer items built around the event theme.

New event rewards include:

• New heirloom tools, weapons, and armor
• New cosmetics
• New furniture items
• Seasonal pets and mounts
• Other limited-time summer rewards

The new furniture is white by default. This is because they are paintable. Inside the /warp furniture building, you can dye them between 9 colors, allowing you to customize them to your liking.

🏗️ Summer Build Contest

It is time to put your creativity to work.

The Summer Build Contest is now running through July 1st, giving players plenty of time to create something spectacular.

You can enter solo or build together with friends, though group rewards are shared.

To submit your build:

Post it in #build-entries on Discord with either:

• A /pw set
• Your build’s coordinates + world

Theme:

Build something inspired by:

• Summer
• Carnival
• Beach life
• Vacation
• Anything that captures the feeling of summertime fun

Rewards:

The Top 3 builds will each receive:

• 2,000 Crowns
• 5x Veiled Crystals
• 3x Ruby
