🎁 Haldor the Generous
Haldor is now a network-wide giveaway system that can randomly reward players while they are online. Instead of being limited to one server or one location, giveaways can now select players across the full network.
This means you no longer need to be standing at spawn to have a chance at giveaway rewards.
How it works:
- Haldor runs giveaways at random intervals.
- Winners are selected from online players from anywhere.
- Rewards are delivered to the server the winner is currently playing on.
- Different giveaways can reward different prizes including Money, Crowns and Keys.

Haldor is designed to make the server feel more active and rewarding while players are simply online.
Keep an eye on chat. Haldor may be feeling generous.
🛡️ Keep Inventory
Death on MineRaze just became a lot more forgiving - without removing the danger.
Keep Inventory is now always active in dungeons and event zones, even without voting. These are the places where deaths happen most often, with tougher mobs, bosses, event fights, and dangerous mechanics.
From now on:
- Keep Inventory is always enabled in spawn, dungeons and event zones.
- This works even if you have not voted
- You can focus more on fighting, exploring, and participating
This does not mean Keep Inventory is active everywhere.
You will still need to vote for Keep Inventory in the normal survival worlds. The permanent Keep Inventory change only applies to spawn, dungeons and event zones.
🛡️ Item Guard
We have also developed a new safety plugin to help prevent accidental item loss.
Custom items are now protected from being dropped by mistake. If you press Q (or your keybound drop-key) on a protected item, the first drop will be blocked. Press Q again shortly after to confirm that you really want to drop it.
The /trash and /dispose menu is also safer now. Protected custom items cannot be deleted there, and normal items require confirmation before being removed.
This should make it much harder to accidentally lose valuable tools, weapons, armor, cosmetics, currencies, or other special items.

⚰️ Death Graves
Deaths in the normal survival and resource worlds now have a much better recovery system.
When you die in the normal worlds - without keep inventory -, your items are now stored in a Death Grave at your death location. Instead of your items dropping on the ground and despawning after a few minutes, they are protected for a much longer period.
You now have 4 hours to return and recover your items.
How it works:
- Your items are stored at your death location
- Your death coordinates are shown in chat
- Your grave is marked in the world
- You have up to 4 hours to recover your items
- Other players cannot break or claim your grave
- You can have up to 3 active graves at once per world.
If you exceed the grave limit, your oldest grave may be removed, so make sure to recover your items when you can.
This change keeps survival meaningful. You still need to make your way back to where you died, but you no longer have to panic because your items are about to vanish after a few minutes.
The goal is simple: death should still matter, but one mistake should not erase hours of progress.
✅Voting Rewards
Since Keep Inventory has been one of the main reasons people vote, and that is now a lot less valuable, voting rewards have also been adjusted.
- 10% chance to get 1x Malachite per vote
- 5% chance to get 1-3 Crowns per vote
- 200 Monthly Votes Milestone now also gives 1x Ruby
In the future, new Voting Achievements will be added with more opportunities for long-term voting rewards.
🏆 Achievements Overhaul
The Achievements menu has received a cleaner and more organized redesign.
Instead of placing every achievement into one large menu, Achievements are now split into clear categories such as Archaeology, Dungeons & Bosses, Events, Tournaments, Collections, Progression, Legacy Achievements, and Completionist goals.
Progress display has also been improved. Achievements now show clearer requirement lines, progress counts, visual progress bars, and checkmarks or crosses for missing steps.
Example progress display:
- Progress: 7 / 10
███████░░░ 70%- ✔ Lion Hat
- ✔ Warthog Hat
- ✘ Grizzly Hat
- ✔ Elephant Hat
- ✘ Antelope Hat

🏟️ Tournament achievements have also been expanded. Instead of one achievement requiring every tournament win at once, each tournament now has its own achievement. Individual tournament achievements reward 100 Crowns, while the final Tournament Champion achievement requires all tournament achievements and rewards 500 Crowns.
If you've already won some Tournaments this season, check it out and you might have some Crowns waiting for you.
🎣 Barrel Master Achievement has been updated with support for three new questlines - Fishing, Colors, and Miscellaneous. The Fishing questline is available now, with Colors and Miscellaneous Barrel Questlines coming soon.

🎣 New Fishing Barrel Questline
A new Fishing Barrel questline has been added with 5 delivery quests.
This works similarly to the existing barrel questlines, giving fishing-focused players a new delivery path with valuable rewards along the way.
The questline asks players to gather and deliver different types of fishing barrels, starting with simple fish shipments and ending with rare ocean salvage.
These quests are also part of the wider Barrelmaster achievement progression.
Rewards include:
- Heirloom currency
- Barrelmaster achievement progress
- The new Masterbaiter title from the final quest

Fishing now has a stronger reason to matter beyond ordinary catches, especially for players who enjoy gathering, trading, and completing delivery-style progression.
Barrelmaster Progression
The Fishing Barrel Questline is now part of the Barrelmaster achievement path.
If you are working on barrel deliveries across different activities, this new fishing branch gives you another route to progress while earning valuable rewards along the way.
We've also got another couple Barrel Quest lines in development, coming later this Summer!
🕵️ Black Market Update
The Black Market has received a new update with more upgradeable items and a cleaner menu layout.
Several new additions can now be upgraded up to 3 times, all the way to Ascended tier. Once upgraded to Ascended tier, these items become vaultable like other eligible Ascended gear.
New upgradeable additions include:
- Oathblade from Fallen Kingdom
- Templar Armor from Fallen Kingdom
- Wraithscythe
- Wraithbound Scepter
- Darksaber

These items use the usual Black Market upgrade structure, letting players invest into older or limited gear and bring it further into long-term progression.
🛒 Sell Shop
A new Sell GUI has been added to make selling items much faster and easier.
This is especially useful for newer players who do not have access to /sell all yet. Instead of searching through shop menus or selling items one by one, players can now quickly sell eligible items in bulk through a clean menu.
This should make early-game money making smoother, reduce inventory clutter, and make farming, mining, fishing, and mob grinding feel much better from the start.
Overall, this is a major quality of life addition for new players and anyone who wants a faster way to sell extra items.

💎 Currency Exchange
A new Currency Exchange (The Broker) has been added at /forge
You can now exchange leftover Malachite, Moonstone, and Veiled Crystals for in-game money.
- Malachite: $2,000
- Moonstone: $5,000
- Veiled Crystal: $25,000
These currencies may still be worth more when traded with other players, so selling them to players is usually recommended first. The Broker simply gives you a quick way to turn leftover Malachite, Moonstone, and Veiled Crystals into money if you have extras you do not know what to do with, especially because a lot of new Malachite sources are being added soon, to make it easier for newcomers to get started with the custom gear.
🧭 Newcomer Quests
A new Newcomer Quest has been added to help fresh players understand MineRaze faster.
When new players join the spawn server and exit the main tutorial, they will now receive a simple bossbar task that guides them through the most important early-game systems. Each task clearly tells them what command to use, so they are not left guessing where to go or what to do next.
This is not meant to be a long tutorial or a forced questline. It is a short introduction to the systems that matter most when starting out.
Completing the Newcomer Quest also gives some good starter money and an Ancient Key.
Besides this, Daily Quests in /quests are also more newcomer orientered. The quest requirements are now 70-80% less compared to before.
🧱 Bedrock Compatibility Expanded
We have extended Bedrock compatibility even further.
Around 1160 custom models and items (up from like... 20) now display for Bedrock players. This includes many of the custom visuals, items, and models that were previously only fully available on Java.
This is honestly an insane endeavour, as MineRaze has a huge amount of custom content, but it is an ongoing process, and with this we're about 30% there. We will continue improving Bedrock support over time so more players can experience the server properly, no matter which version they play on. 3D Models need to each be manually tweaked, so some of those might still display a bit strangely.
