Patch 8.11 - Midsummer + 4th July

Midsummer has arrived, bringing a new seasonal event built around community, gathering, rewards, and the power of the summer sun.

This event introduces the Summer Solstice Bonfire, a new social event at spawn where players work together to ignite a giant ritual fire and unlock the Bonfire-Kissed buff.

Alongside the bonfire, the event adds 20 one-time Midsummer quests, 3 Daily Midsummer Ritual quests, a new seasonal crate, new heirlooms, store promotions, and a special armor set built around daytime grinding.

The Midsummer Event is available from July 3rd to July 25th.

There is also a smaller 4th July Mini-Event available from July 4th to July 15th, with a short questline and store bundle.

🇺🇸 4th July Mini-Event

We have not hosted a 4th July event in years, and the 250th US Birthday felt like the right time to bring one back.

The Midsummer Event is still the main focus of this update, but as a small bonus celebration, a few limited-time quests are now available for Americans, US supporters, and anyone who wants to take part.

Complete the quests to earn:

Captain America’s Shield

The 4th July Bundle, which includes all three rewards, is also available on the store for $9.99 for anyone who wants to support the server.

But let's get into the Midsummer stuff!

🛒 July Store Promotions

During July, every qualifying single payment on the store will unlock extra bonus rewards.

These rewards are based on the total amount spent in one payment and are only available during the event.

🔥 The Summer Solstice Bonfire

A giant unlit bonfire now stands at spawn, waiting for the community to bring it back to life.

You must contribute Cactus, Haybales, and Gunpowder to fuel the ritual.

Once enough materials have been contributed, the bonfire ignites and the area around spawn becomes the heart of the event.

How it works:

Contribute materials together with the rest of the server.
Once the community goal is reached, the bonfire is lit.
After ignition, players near the bonfire receive the Bonfire-Kissed buff.
This can occur once every 8 hours.

☀️ Bonfire-Kissed Buff

When the bonfire is lit, everyone standing near it can receive the Bonfire-Kissed buff.

This buff is designed to make Midsummer feel like a true prime-time event, giving players a strong reason to gather before heading out to grind, quest, build, or explore.

Bonfire-Kissed effects:

Regain health faster.
Regain hunger faster.
Receive 1.1x Jobs Experience earned - stacks with other boosts.
The effects lasts for 2 hours.

The player who contributes the most materials to the bonfire receives the Bonfire-Kissed effect for 4 hours instead of 2 hours.

This makes the bonfire a powerful starting point for your next grind session. Help ignite the fire, claim the buff, and make the most of the sunlight.

📜 20 Midsummer Event Quests

A new set of 20 Midsummer quests has been added for the event.

These quests focus on gathering and delivering a variety of summer-themed materials, giving players a straightforward way to earn seasonal rewards while taking part in the event.

Quest rewards include:

Event currency: Midsummer's Flame
In-game money
Heirloom Currency
Midsummer Crate Key

There are 20 event quests in total, each built around the Midsummer theme.

Check /event during the event and complete them before the event passes.

☀️ Daily Midsummer Ritual

A new Daily Midsummer Ritual has been added as another way to earn Midsummer currency during the event.

This ritual brings together three different parts of the event: combat, fishing, and gathering. To complete it, you must collect three elemental offerings and deliver them through the Midsummer Ritual menu.

Required offerings:

🔥 Scorched Ember
Earned by finding and defeating a rare Sun-Scorched Wanderer in the wild.

🌊 Tideglass Pearl
Earned by completing the Midsummer fishing objective. (Catch 20 fish - track in /quests)

🌱 Sunroot Fragment
Earned by completing the Midsummer block-breaking objective. (Break 2000 Wheat - track in /quests)

Once you have all three offerings, deliver them to complete the ritual and receive 1 Midsummer's Flame each day.

The Daily Midsummer Ritual can be completed once every 20 hours per player. This gives you a repeatable event goal to work toward each day while exploring, fishing, mining, and gathering across the server.

🎁 Midsummer Crate

A brand new Midsummer Crate has been added, filled with seasonal rewards inspired by summer, fire and the solstice.

Inside the crate, you can find new event-themed items including tools, cosmetics, furniture, and more.

The crate includes:

New Midsummer-themed tools
New furniture and cosmetics
Event-exclusive rewards

The Midsummer Crate is only available during the event, so make sure to earn your keys while you can.

🛡️ Midsummer Armor Set

The event also introduces a special Midsummer Armor Set.

This set is built around the power of daylight, making it especially useful for players who spend their time grinding, gathering, farming, and working during the day.

Set bonus:

+45% all Jobs Money earned during daytime
+35% Sell Shop Bonus during daytime.

This makes the Midsummer Armor Set a strong seasonal reward for players who want to boost their income while it is daytime in-game.

The bonus depends on the server’s actual daytime. Your /ptime does not affect it.
